2022 Fall Community Food Drive
November 11-12, 2022
The Food Drive held at the TOG pool house was another community success. TOG Board Members participated in collecting food each day.
Reported by Florence Walters, Board Member
We collected approximately 175 LBS of non-perishable food items and $24.00 in cash which was used to buy additional cans of tuna fish, salad dressings and vegetables.
A big thank you to all the Board Members as well as to residents who turned out to donate items, and to meet and greet those who gave. Special thanks to Ilene and Lydia for the bright new signs and the resident, Ms. B. who helped to decorate the sidewalk. Please note we have several BOD members who are 'Artists in Residence'! (RR & IB). All items were delivered to Manna Head Quarters in Gaithersburg.
Once Again we have accomplished what we set out to do....Make a positive impact in our wider community.
2022 Little Library
September 6, 2022
Thanks to ASI, one of the contractors here at TOG, we now have our own Little Library. It's installed at the front of the community across the street from the Pool House at Wexhall Drive and Wexhall Terrace.
Here is how it works:
Books, magazines, and other reading materials are FREE. The Library will hold books and magazines donated by residents. All residents including kids can visit at any time.
Take a book. Feel free to return it after reading it but you don't have to.
If possible leave a book. Come as often as you want to.
All residents are welcome. Take A Book. Leave A Book. Enjoy Your Little Library
Thank you,
TOG Board of Directors
